It is not too late. AP cles are always a good thing to take if you are considering a serious collegiate education, which you are. You do not want to worry about the rat race in or getting into college. There have been several notable people who have made a successful career without the grades, etc. As long as you get into a college and do your best and graduate, this is what matters. While the average would be great to have, the networking and potential value that you will offer another person is the most important.
