Shouldn't I have known this before "i do"?

I found out that my husband had been arrested as a teen on allegations of child molestation on his cousin... I have talked to the cousins mother and she admitted that she reported these allegations falsely and it was thrown out of court. We have been together six years and since I had a child before we were together and now we have a child together I feel he should have told me this before we married. He thought I would never find out and if I did know I would not have ever married him, well since the allegations were false and even if they were true shouldn't that have been my decision?????
