How to copy hidden partition from IBM laptop?

In my lenovo thinkpad the os got crashed. I was trying to install the same from the backup provided in the hidden partition. but due to some virus problem the link between them got erased. but the partition is intact. the file system in the partition is FAT sys. now i installed a pirated os of XP pro. any help from you to extract the hidden partition will be highly appreciated
