I loved the movie Pearl Harbor and the WWII time period..book suggestions?

For nonfiction, read "The War of the World" by Niall Ferguson (gives a great account of the Japanese motivations for war), "Rise and Fall of the Third Reich" by William Shirer, and even "The making of the atomic bomb" by Rhodes.
