sweetie your dress is fine (: it sounds like you like it, so you should wear it. and 3 inches above your knee is not that bad at all, its a decent length for that kind of dress. guarantee someone will have a dress shorter than that. but for your "problem" you should just do your makeup so that it looks more natural and wear your hair down and casual.
