You just need to use it and be ready to do lots of digging."You will need a good trowl".It's all fun don't give up on it I have one and it takes time.You need to go to a area that is clean from most trash, like out in a field.Practice by throwing out some coins and go find them,then bury some and find them.Look at the different readings and listen to the sounds each coin makes.You wouldn't believe how many old coins,rings,tokens I have found.Once you get the hang of it you will love your DFX
